If you’re looking for parkour classes in Sheffield, here’s the thing most people don’t realise: you don’t have to pay for them. Sheffield Parkour & Freerunning has run free weekly parkour sessions in this city since 2005 – making us Sheffield’s original parkour club, more than a decade before anyone else set up here.
Free, community-run sessions – not paid classes
Our sessions aren’t a business. They’re run by the community, for the community, the same way they have been for twenty years. Experienced practitioners train alongside complete beginners, and whoever’s there will happily show you the basics, spot you and point you at challenges that suit your level. There’s no fee, no membership and no booking – you just turn up.
When and where we train
- Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6pm – main sessions at Endcliffe Parkour Park
- Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 6pm – social training at Endcliffe Parkour Park
- Saturdays, 1:30pm – city centre session at the Northumberland Road Courtyard (S10 2TT)
Full details are on our sessions page, and our Endcliffe Parkour Park guide tells you exactly where to find us.
Who the sessions are for
Everyone. Kids, teenagers, adults, students, parents – parkour is one of the few sports where all of those genuinely train side by side. Complete beginners are welcome at every session; most of us started as one. If it’s your first time, have a read of our beginner’s guide so you know what to expect.
What about paid parkour classes?
If structured indoor coaching suits you better – very young children especially – we’re happy to point you at NovaCity Centre in Rotherham, one of the UK’s biggest indoor parkour parks, where some of our own members work. We’d simply say: try a free outdoor session first. Parkour was born outdoors, on real walls and rails, and training in the environment the discipline was made for costs nothing at all. Plenty of people do both.

Paid indoor classes offer a coach, a set curriculum and foam landings – if that suits you, NovaCity Centre in Rotherham is who we’d recommend. Our sessions are outdoor, community-led and completely free. Plenty of people do both.
